I've always been an artist and entrepreneur. I grew up on Long Island and studied design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
In 2006, I moved to Arizona and ran an award-winning business in faux and decorative painting for years.
Once I got married & became a mom, I started working from home. Now, I have my dream art studio in my own back yard in North Scottsdale.
As a wife & mom of two boys, I love the freedom and flexibility I have working with my clients, designers, students, showrooms and multiple galleries.
I started doing large-scale paintings for individual clients & local showrooms. That experience, coupled with my award winning decorative painting skills has sharpened my techniques. Allowing me to harness the depth & energy I put behind my Art. I project purpose & meaning behind each painting. I know people feel it when they connect with a specific piece & it’s taken my art to another level.
The transition began as a new mom. I was home with our then 10-month-old son "Judson" I couldn't take the original, hand painted, hot air Balloon animal themed, wall mural and nursery designs i had painstaking done from our previous home. So when we moved, i wanted to recreate my son's nursery. I turned the hand paintings into into a set of reproduction fabric, baby nursery decals. From that I created a designer kit that includes the wall decals, an installation guide and color swatches. Which then led to a children’s online store at JudsonLane.com
